So not much going on here in Oregon. My 13 year old niece and 12 year old nephew are visiting. I'm getting a good sneak peak into the teenage girl years. With two girls, 16 months apart, I have decided that I am officially scared!
They're a little sassy, they text A LOT, and they're boy crazy...lucky us that we'll have two at the same time.
Anywho...on the furniture side of things the Mr. has finished up a few things. Three things first:
1. My pictures are still horrible.
2. They probably won't ever be better.
3. I apologize.
So I picked up this cute little coffee table at the Goodwill. (I forgot to take a bad before photo.) But here is the finished project:
And then this little number went from this:
to this:
and this...
Hoping they find new, loving homes sooner rather than later!
Have a lovely week!
Melissa

20 High Fives:
LOL on the teenage girls. I have an almost 14 year old boy, and it really is the girls who text him non stop. I always say the good Lord gave me boys for a reason. Love the table and chairs. Thanks for sharing with my newbie party.
That IS the same table I recently did! Looks amazing! Nice work!
Those are AMAZING refinishes. Don't you kick yourself when you forget to take the before photos. I think we are so eager sometimes to get to work that it just slips our minds....UGH!
Take care.

Nice :-) Love the coffee table. What did you use for the stained top and for the painted legs?

Looks great! I just did a similar finish (ivory bottom with natural dark wood top) to my dining table and a dresser that I'm using in the dining room. Stopping by from Funky Junk!

Oh my, oh my, be still my heart. Too bad I don't have a need for these. I would be a loving caretaker.
Visiting from FJI. Nice makeovers! Can't go wrong with a stained top/distressed white finish combo. Inviting you to stop by and enter my summer giveaway.
Nice job on the tables. I have a 21 year old daughter, and I'm here to tell you it does get better. After her first year away from home, she came back much more appreciative of good ol' mom.
Wow that table set looks great!! I have a little round table in my breakfast nook that I would love to make look similar
Beautiful makeovers. I love that dining table set! Thanks for linking this post to Share the Love Wednesday; hope you'll be back this week--

Amazing...you've given them a new lease on life. Looks fantastic.
Love that coffee table redo (I imagined an ugly before so it looked great as a transformation, lol).
